Quatre Heure: December 2022
This year has been one for the books.
I mean, some of the most outrageous things came my way here in my business that I never imagined possible.
Yet I also hit one of the hardest creative ruts and personal challenges of my life.
I think it just goes to show us that nothing is linear and that one must always exist alongside the other.
I want to remember this always, that I don't belong "in the zone" or in a flow state with anything for a long period of time, it just can't exist that way.
I've become more comfortable in the discomfort and it's made me realize what I'm actually capable of which is much more than I could have guessed.
This year I am more resilient and stronger than years past.
I will share more bits about this in the post to come, until then enjoy the ebbs along with the flow throughout your entire holiday season ♥️
Here's what's happenin' in my corner of the world...
What I'm reading:
Currently: Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Finished: Where The Sky Begins by Rhys Bowens
For more book goodness from yours truly, hang out with me on Goodreads.
What I'm watching:
Now Watching: Great British Baking Show (Holiday Editions!)
Just Finished: Dash + Lily, Love Actually, Spirited, Christmas Vacation, The Holiday (trying to get in all our movies early!!)
What I'm listening to:
Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert on audio-- love how inspiring it is whenever I need an extra boost!!
Link I love:
- For the artists: my art friend Jill Kittock is hosting a class early next year about creating sketchbook ideas! So excited to attend virtually!
- For the hopeless romantics: please watch The Holiday this season--- truly one of our favorites!
- For the bakers: my favorite holiday cookie recipe to give friends + neighbors each year! Sometimes I like to use the mint m&ms in some too if I'm feeling CRAZY.
Until next month,
