Ensemble is a collection of mixed-media works exploring the intersection of motherhood and creativity, not as separate worlds, but as a shared experience. Instead of seeing artistic practice as something to be put on hold, this work embraces a different path: integrating motherhood into creativity, and creativity into motherhood.
Each piece in this exhibition is a collaboration between mother and child, an exercise in trust, play, and mutual discovery. Colors, brushstrokes, and composition emerge not from one singular vision, but from the give-and-take of shared creation. In working side by side, I am not only keeping my own creativity alive, but also nurturing confidence, autonomy, and artistic intuition in my daughter.
These works are an invitation, to mothers, caretakers, and creatives, to reclaim their passions by weaving them into the fabric of daily life. To let go of the idea that art must be solitary, uninterrupted, or perfect. To recognize that creativity, like motherhood, can be messy, spontaneous, joyful, and unexpected.
This exhibition is a testament to the idea that art doesn’t have to be sacrificed for motherhood, it can be transformed by it.
